This is an original, French Grande movie poster from 1980 for the initial theatrical release of John Carpenter's Dark Star. The 1975 film stars Dan O'Bannon, Brian Narelle, Dre Pahich, Cal Kuniholm, Miles Watkins, and Joe Saunders. John Carpenter directed the science fiction-comedy. Lynch Guillotin is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 46" x 61.5" and is in very good to excellent condition with minimal wear from handling. Like nearly all French one panel posters, it was folded before being shipped to a French movie theater. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
