This is an original, Italian fogli movie poster from 1973 for a theatrical re-release of The War of the Worlds (1953) starring Gene Barry, Ann Robinson, Les Tremayne, Robert Cornthwaite, Lewis Martin, and Ann Codee. Byron Haskin directed the classic science fiction film based on the novel by H.G. Wells.
The poster measures 55” x 78” and was printed in two sections that are designed to overlap. It is in very good to excellent, unused condition with minimal wear from handling and storage. The poster was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
