This is an original, rolled, one-sheet movie poster from 1983 for Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence starring David Bowie, Tom Conti, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Takeshi Kitano, Jack Thompson and Nagisa Ohshima. Nagisa Oshima directed the British-Japanese World War II drama. Makhi is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 26.75" x 39.75" (it has not been trimmed) and is in very good to excellent condition with minimal edge wear from previous handling. Unlike most one sheet posters from this period, it has never been folded.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
