This is an original, French grande movie poster from the 1970s for a theatrical re-release of 2001: A Space Odyssey. The science fiction classic stars Gary Lockwood, Keir Dullea, William Sylvester, Daniel Richter, Leonard Rossiter, Robert Beatty and Douglas Rain. Stanley Kubrick directed the film. Bob McCall is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 45.5” x 62” and is in very good to excellent condition with minimal creasing along the bottom edge. It was folded at the time of printing and has tiny separations at the bottom-right and middle left cross-folds. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
